Sparta Christian Church

God is One, existing in three Persons – The Father, The Son , and The Holy Spirit.
That it is the chief end of man to glorify God (through worship and obedience) and enjoy His benefits.
The Bible is God’s written revelation to man and the only infallible rule for faith and life.
Mankind is by nature and choice fallen and helpless to save himself outside the grace of God and the merit of Christ’s sacrificial death.
That there is a day coming when all will be judged.
Salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
That God has established His Church and by His sovereignty given spiritual gifts for the edification of the body and that those spiritual gifts are still at work within the body of Christ today.
That there have been given two ordinances to the Church; 1) baptism, and 2) the Lord’s Supper. (Both of which only require salvation for participation.)
That the Church is to be a place of mutual edification, operated within an orderly fashion as prescribed in Scripture.
That it is the responsibility of the whole Church to fulfill Christ’s Great Commission.
